New Car!

Well, I just had the share the fun blessing we received this week. We weren't looking for it, but the deal came to us, and it was one that we couldn't refuse! We were planning to look for a used Subaru in the fall, but we got this 2009 for little more than we thought we'd be paying for a used one. We didn't think we'd by a NEW car for many, many years - it only had 6 miles on it! And it's in the color we wanted too, YAY!

It was SO nice to be in a car buying situation where we weren't REALLY wanting a car, ya know, the covetious feeling that's not a good thing. It was like, ok, if they'll give it to us for this price and this car and color, yeah, we'll do it. If not...no big deal - truly, I really didn't think it was going to happen, and we had no problem with that. We bought it from a dealer in Portland, and so Corey flew there a couple days ago and drove it home...and here it is, Praise Jesus!
