Well, after waiting for almost 2 years for the Lord to give us another child, we are almost there! Crazy how things can get all stirred up at once, eh? The Lord likes to do that sometimes, haha!
We actually received 2 calls while we were at the hospital after my surgery. We met with one of those birth moms and were hopeful. However, she did not choose us to parent the child she carried.
The crazy thing is, as we received the news that she did not choose us, we were also told that another was considering us. The next day, we were told that she wasn't just considering us, but that she had actually chosen us! YAY!
We met with Samantha a few weeks ago, and we are excited to be expecting a baby girl around February 22nd! Please keep us all in prayer as we move forward in this process.
